is Jamiesons urban fantasy debut novel in the Death Works series and, right from the
start, captured my attention with a dead girl and a bang. Literally. If I have one teeny,
tiny niggle its that the story seemed to drag a big at the beginning and then,
suddenly, BAM! It was all systems go and a faster-paced story took place.
Ringing sinuses, gunshots, ghosts, conversations with your dead relatives and a
pressing need to track down Mr. Death himself its quirky, dark, fun and, in
some parts, put me in mind of Jim Butchers Dresden Files books.
