This book took a little while to get interesting – I had to persevere until halfway through, when the story finally became interesting. The story is told from the viewpoints of the four main characters and also has the viewpoints of other characters. Each chapter is named after the person whose viewpoint it is and this involves a lot of jumping around and requires the reader to concentrate to figure out what’s happening. Annoying for someone like me who reads for pleasure.

It’s interesting how each character’s assumptions of the motivation of others is totally wrong and their actions are shaped because of their beliefs, forcing others to react in certain ways, which leads to more assumptions and more actions..... I loved the uncovered plot at the end; it was an ironic twist in the tale.

This book features a new character, Robyn, who gets unknowingly caught up in the Underworld. Luckily her best friend is ready to help and happens to be half chaos demon who has an ex-jewel thief werewolf boyfriend. They help the heroine navigate the murky supernatural world of cabals, seers, clairvoyants, and other scary things, while solving a murder, dodging paparazzi, and uncovering plots.......
